Women, I am on your side :-(

It looks like the men in the NRA are looking for a war with our women?
National Rifle Association (NRA) there are currently 4.3 million members nationwide in this country.
There are about 150 million women in this country, about 15 million own a gun.
Have you ever seen what happens if one tries to stand between a female and her babies?
It's not a pretty sight.
I am not coward, but I am also not a fool!
Let's see who has the better plan and is going to win this war?
Our women want to remove all assault and weapons of mass destruction from this country.
The NRA wants to put a hand full of men with assault weapons in every school in this country, to battle with one or more nutcase's with many weapons in our schools.
So those nutcases now go to our movie theaters, the NRC put a hand full of men with assault weapons in every movie theater in this country. So those nutcases now go to our airports, bus stations, train station, the NRA counters with a hand full of men with assault weapons.
The nutcases move to Wal Mart, Target and grocery stores, and on and on and on.
So, who wins this or any war?
The NRA members that are selling weapons of course!
If you feel the need to own a hand gun for protection so be it.
If you buy, sell or carry any assault weapon or weapon of mass destruction you go to jail for life for attempted murder and accessory to murder.

This was a horrible thing however, it was one shot, with one pistol, one bullet, that killed one person not the whole police station.
Nargas walked into a heavily-guarded compound in the heart of Kabul, confronted Griffin and gunned him down with a single pistol bullet.

Florida Panther another endangered species

26 panthers killed this year alone, 17 of which were vehicles on roads and highways driven by careless people.
The best estimate is that there are only around 100 Florida Panthers left.
At this rate they will pass into extinction within a few years and why not we are losing most of our natives to progress in Florida.
I keep trying to think of a way to get the human race to slow down and watch out of these beautiful creation gift from our Creator then I am rudely brought back to reality, we the humans are killing ourselves just as fast as those endangered and soon we will be the endangered species.
Andrew McElwaine: Panthers on the verge of extinction

The good/bad/ugly about endangered species

Wood stork no longer endangered, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service says
The good- I am pleased to hear that the beautiful Black & White Wood stork has made it back from almost extinction to a number that our Fish & Wildlife service feels can now go onto the threatened classification.
The bad- Changing the birds’ classification from endangered to threatened does just what the name change means, Threatened.
The ugly- Hunters 'to me' a non human species, are still out killing for sport and/or for sale all endangered species.

Yekaterinburg Sverdlovsk Russian Federation

Welcome to my posting about our baby Breanna an Airedale, http://airedalepets.blogspot.com/
I do hope that you enjoyed the posting about our Manatees we like to call our Gentle Giants and much as I have enjoyed the You tube on your city in your country!
Not sure if your country has endangered species and if so as many as we in this country, I am very interested in learning?
However, they must be protected at all cost because once gone, they are gone !
Again thank-you for your visit

Our Gentle Giants

I wanted to write something about my very nosy neighbor, the Manatees, however it did not seem to be the right time to complain about their abuse after what had just happened in a little close nit school tucked away in my beautiful state of Connecticut.
Unfortunately this cannot be put off for long.
In my other beautiful state of Florida we have many part time visitors and full time retired people that we welcome each winter.
Most of our visitors and retirees are just like me, wanting or needing to get away from what winter brings in a northern state, it is called OLD AGE.
A very small group of these people that we must call human also come?
The only thing on their minds, they have no heart, is come to have their fun at any cost!
They come to kill our animals, cut down our endangered trees, fish only for sport, they throw the fish back to die a slow death no longer being able to eat. However, we must draw the line with our Endangered Gentle Giants!
As a Snow Bird I remember going to the Blue Spring state park and getting into the water with the Manatees. Fear, then interest crept in as one by one these nosy loving giants touched and caressed every human in the water at no time were we in any danger.
I found out that we were not in danger, it was determined that they were, so no more swimming at Blue Springs!
Over on this side of the country we have people boating over our Manatees just because they are getting in the way of their fun!
These intruders have hired an attorney from California to help them remove the protection for our Gentle Giants!
One would rightly guess that they could not find an attorney in any state that knows of these beautiful mammals!
My greatest fear is "What happens when the thrill of the kill wears off with killing animals and fish, what or who do they kill next"?

Merry Christmas too all

Good god get that tree out of my house!
My pets are getting a little senile, first yesterday they put the back down on my back seat and drove me around, NOT GOOD!
We stopped at a place where there were a lot of people loving on me then they put a tree in the back seat with me and I had to share my seat all the way home.
Now this morning my male pet dragged the tree into my house and he and my female pet put lights and stuff all over it?

Halloween 2012 has come and gone

Halloween 2012 has come and gone, still no candy for the baby?
My pets keep telling me that I am the apple of their eye, I am the princess, the queen of the castle!

Then give me my trick or treat candy!

This year I had hope. They bought three big boxes of pretzels ( Bats & Jacks)!
Nope too much salt!

Hey, maybe these people will treat me?
Never mind the pat on the head, give me some treats!

Black bears are on the move

State: Bear calls up, but residents need to live with it
ORANGE CITY
Florida black bears, driven by instinct to fatten up for the coming winter, are roaming neighborhoods near Blue Spring State Park, digging into garbage cans and prompting state officials to remind residents how to live with bears.
Black bear spotted in Altamonte Springs neighborhood
ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla.
Neighbors contacted WFTV after seeing a black bear in an Altamonte Springs neighborhood Saturday morning.
The black bear was spotted outside of a home on Oak Gate Circle around 10:00 a.m. Saturday.
“If at the first site of a bear, people will lock up their garbage and bring all pet food and wildlife attractants inside, the bear will move on.
But the longer people tolerate the bears, the harder it is to get rid of the problem because the bears will keep coming back” said Joy Hill, a commission spokeswoman.

I got this Witch under control dad!

TUMMY ACHE?

STOMACH ACHES CAUSED BY CARRAGEENAN
This website is basically speaking to the humans on this planet, how much of this chemical is also going into your pets without your knowledge?
Makes you wonder don't?
Well I think that is a good thing, wonder what the chemical companies like Monsanto, are doing to us and our pets!
Carrageenan is a commonly used food additive that is
extracted from red seaweed by using powerful alkali
solvents. These solvents would remove the tissues
and skin from your hands as readily as would any acid.
Carrageenan is a thickening agent. It's the vegetarian
equivalent of casein, the same protein that is isolated
from milk and used to thicken foods. Casein is also
used to produce paints, and is the glue used to hold
a label to a bottle of beer. Carrageenan is the magic
ingredient used to de-ice frozen airplanes sitting on
tarmacs during winter storms.

Halloween party Airedale style.

The Sarasota Polo Club and our Airedale club were kind enough to invite the members to a Halloween party Airedale style.

The Sarasota Polo Club at Lakewood Ranch in Sarasota, Florida.
Every Sunday afternoon during season, the public is invited to bring out their picnic baskets and enjoy the thrill of the “fastest game on four feet”. With pony and Clydesdale wagon rides, exciting action, tailgating, half-time entertainment, divot stomping and plenty of fresh air, Sunday polo is the perfect place for a family outing; dogs are even welcome on a leash.
Experience Sarasota Polo – the best kept secret on the West Coast of Florida!

Why should dogs still be digging holes?

Why Dogs Dig and What You Can Do
This is an ongoing dispute in our household and I am sure in many others.
She thinks that it is a dogs god given right to dig, (we have an Airedale) because their ancestors had to dig to survive.
Some wild dog relatives, like foxes and wolves, dig dens to raise their young. Sleeping in a den protects the young pups from extreme temperatures (both hot and cold) and from predators.
Why should dogs still be digging holes?
My answer is, “ if you want her to keep digging like her ancestors did centuries ago, go build us a cave like your ancestors did centuries ago, set up housekeeping in it and she can dig just like her ancestors did”?

OK, I rest my case with this photo!

Living proof that Airedales are spoiled as much as if not more then our children and grandchildren?
We were beginning to think that, although she deserve it, we spoil Breanna far too much.
You got to love a family like this.

Renewable Energy to the Rescue

Guerrilla Marketing to Save Mountain Gorillas
Renewable Energy to the Rescue
By John R. Platt | September 25, 2012
In one hand, the costumed gorilla holds an energy-efficient stove.
In the other, he carries a bag of biomass briquettes.
Put together these two items could provide safe, inexpensive, environmentally friendly fuel for heating and cooking to the 250,000 refugees currently crowding around Virunga National Park as they flee violence from the ongoing civil war in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Unfortunately, the region is saturated by real guerillas and at least nine militia groups that kill people and animals every day.
The situation in the Congo is undoubtedly going to get worse before it gets better, but if refugees can save a few dollars when buying cooking fuel and protect wildlife in the process, the park may have a brighter future ahead.

Tripod is an outsourced junk company!

Like everything else in this world, as soon as their company was sold and outsourced out of the United States their product dropped to junk status!
I would say that about 75% of the people coming to my blogger postings are from people all over the world looking for a way to dumb their tripod sites, both free and paid sites!
This is real sad, because it use to be one of the, if not the top website builder in the world.
Now it is just junk and a bad foreign company's way to make money from advertising!

Where back

My pets and I are back home from a vacation northwest.
We saw many people pets and of course they loved and fussed over me.
We also saw a deer family out eating close to a road, hope that they are still OK?
This was my mom's family reunion and everyone seemed to be having a great time eating and talking.
They all talked to me however, none gave me any of their food, how hard I tried!
Mommy & Daddy told them not to feed me people food, I have a much better diet.
I'll be the judge of that!
Well got to go for now

Boo Boo the bear

Who wants to help Boo Boo the bear?
Not in Florida, we do not help our wild life we hunt it!
An orphaned black bear cub, nicknamed Boo Boo, awaits its trip to the Idaho State veterinarian, on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, after being rescued on Sunday night.
Fish and Game vet considering several rehab facilities for Boo Boo the bear cub
Who wants to help Boo Boo? Everybody in Idaho that is.
Veterinary hospitals across the region have volunteered to care for the 4-month-old cub who was rescued from a wildfire near Salmon over the weekend.
His story is remarkably similar to that of the famous Smokey Bear, who was found clinging to a tree after a fire in New Mexico in 1950.

Grandfather (Ohjieshan)

Some companies that are run by closed minded European owners refuse to allow a traditional native person using his or her own native name along with their European given one, this may help with an explanation?
Ohjieshan or Grandfather is a show of respect from other Traditional American Natives to another that has stepped aside of himself  in his walk around Mother Earth for at least 70 years.
I am a Native American Spiritual Leader I have reach the age, so now my people call me Ohjieshan Walkingfox (Grandfather Walkingfox).
This is a Native American name and it means, we respect you as an elder teacher !
After the age of 70 an elder in my tribal clan that has kept the culture and ceremonies sacred in his or her life is offered the respect of Grandfather or Grandmother.
In my tribal clad it is a show of disrespect to use it as a sub name or a nickname!
If you think about this for a few minutes, by using this name, every native person in Indian country recognizes names like this so, it along with the rest of our blogger postings can be sold to advertisers throughout this country?
Grandmother is  (objiasan).
Aquine ( Go in peace my friends).

Welcome to
Wallaceburg Ontario Canada
looking for information about
simple quotes for bird feeders
to my how to build your our feeder/bath
I have had one Squirrel of the many that have tried, get around and on to my feeder.
“Notail”
So named because, one would guess that,
he was in one too many losing fights for food, was able to get up the pipe,
on to then over the upside down flower pot and into the feeder.
So I replaced it with a new upside down 14” flower pot!

University of Connecticut Storrs

Welcome UCONN
University of Connecticut Storrs Mansfield Connecticut
To my old tripod Breanna's WebRing site
What is WebRing?
I lives in the area and would repair that old heating system at the University once in a while when there was big problems.
I would always drop the change in that old donation contained back in the late 60s early 70s while working on the system, been a big fan ever since.
Later on we would stop by to speak on native Spirituality until the old ticker started acting up
Had to move to the Ocala Florida a few years ago so I do not get to see many games or meet the young adult.
I see Geno is still Geno!
Can't seem to find out how Coach Calhoun is doing?
However, I am well pleased with my UCONN students.

AIREDALE BREANNA'S MENU

Adelaide South Australia, Australia
Best puppy food for Airedale
BREANNA'S MENU
AIREDALE BREANNA'S MENU
Welcome to this blogger while showing your interested in the very best for your baby's ( PETS). Best dog food for Airedale
Are Airedale the best dog?
After the loss of our baby ( Sabrina) we both dived full speed into the internet looking for something, anything to help with the hurt!
Of course the only help in the end was (Breanna) however, we did discover many floors in all types of food for pets!
You can and should get the very best for your very best just remember, price should never be your determining factor, just because it cost the most does not make it the best.
On the other hand, cheep food is NOT always the best for you or your baby!
