An orphaned black bear
cub, nicknamed Boo Boo, awaits its trip to the Idaho State veterinarian, on
Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, after being rescued on Sunday night.

Boo? Everybody in Idaho that is.
Veterinary hospitals
across the region have volunteered to care for the 4-month-old cub who was
rescued from a wildfire near Salmon over the weekend.
His story is remarkably
similar to that of the famous Smokey Bear, who was found clinging to a tree
after a fire in New Mexico in 1950.
