Lake commissioners to decide whether to
ban dog tethering
April 8, 2012
TAVARES — Pet owners soon could be
prohibited from tying up their dog in the yard while they're at work or running
errands.
County commissioners are eyeing pulling in
the reins on unattended tethering after receiving complaints about dogs tied up
all day during extreme weather.
As a pet loving owner and living in Lake
county we get to see the thousands of abused dogs tethered out in all types of
weather from a Florida cold to Florida's extremely hot and everything in
between.
Maybe these commissioners should ask these
dogs what they think about this treatment.
Better idea, before voting you go get
tethered for a year or so!
