If you wonder why I am
sometimes so bitter while writing on this blog here is one of many reasons.
Read the completer story,
if you dare!
Three (young men) are charged with
torturing and killing endangered tortoises this weekend in Orange County,
according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
Someone needs to remind the FFWCC
that these thugs are not young men!
The thee punks are charged with
killing and wounding a threatened species and felony cruelty to animals.
The charges are third-degree
felonies and could result in up to five years in prison.
Not enough, they need to really be
punished.
They said they simply
wanted to 'see what would happen if we dropped it,'" Officer Steve
McDaniel said in a news release.
"I just don't
understand how and why people can do things like this."
Both animals later died.
However, as you can image
it was a very slow painful death!
Officers encourage
anyone with information about wildlife, fish and boating violations, to call
the FWC's 24-hour toll-free Wildlife Alert Hotline at 888-404-FWCC (3922).
Tipsters can remain
anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
